The ONLY Barrier To Success

I’ve been re-reading The Master Key System by Charles F. Haanel again…

And I just stumbled across something.

This will help anyone who feels they haven’t yet reached the success they’re looking for in their lives yet.

It’s going to seem harsh at first.

But hang in there…

Because Charles F. Haanel reveals both the cause of the problem and the solution!

Here it is:

“Weakness is the only barrier to mental attainment; attribute your weakness to physical limitations or mental uncertainties and try again; ease and perfection are gained by repetition.”

Think about it.

The only thing that separates successful people from ‘unsuccessful’ people is that the former kept on pushing forwards where the latter gave up.

Why did they give up?

Charles F. Haanel says it’s because they felt ‘weakness’ or ‘powerlessness’ in their minds and stopped believing the end goal was possible.

But this ‘weakness’ was an illusion…

Let’s take a look at two reasons why:

👉 Physical Limitations
Maybe you made a goal for yourself that just wasn’t physically possible. For example, you wanted to get fitter or lose weight in a time frame that wasn’t achievable. Or you wanted to make a certain amount of money with a business in too short a time frame. Or you wanted to save a relationship that the other person was no longer interested in.


👉 Mental Uncertainties
Maybe you hit a roadblock in your journey towards success that you just couldn’t get past. Maybe you needed skills you didn’t have, or knowledge you hadn’t attained, or you couldn’t properly concentrate on the task at hand.

The reason why you haven’t hit your goals yet always falls into one of the above categories.

It’s not YOU who is to blame.

I know what it’s like…

It’s so easy to think that something didn’t work out for us once and so it’s not going to work out for us again…

That’s the ‘weakness’ Charles Haanel is talking about!

And it’s not true!

As soon as you think you ‘messed up’ or ‘can’t do it’ you fall prey to weakness…

Don’t fall into the trap!

Go back and figure out which 1 of the 2 categories above explains why you haven’t reached your goal yet.

Keep going until you truly realize it was not your fault.
